On Thursday, the City of Ventura is formally launching a new incubator, the Ventura Ventures Technology Center (www.v2tc.com), targeted at high tech businesses. who founded AdECN in Carpinteria, which was bought by Microsoft, is starting his second venture, Trade Desk, which is in stealth mode at the event, there's Netplenish.com, headed by Dave Compton, who founded Aqua Scientific, has a bitoech firm in Ventura, and is launching at the event.
What The incubator so far includes startups Lottay , Geodelic , and a number of other Internet and other technology firms.

My best friend Braden Jones and his wife Denai started a company in my hometown of Ventura in 2001 called Petunia Pickle Bottom and gave birth to a new industry. April 2007 I had a miracle surgery and they implanted a digital hearing device into my brain (i know right!) Folks over estimate what they can do in a year and under estimate what they can do in ten.
No doubt you’d agree how quickly this past decade has flown by.

He passed away in 2007. Another fond memory was in 2006 when I took my Grandpa fishing out at the Channel Islands off Ventura County. Today is Fast Eddy’s 89th birthday. He He was my Grandpa, and it finally hit me today how much I miss him.
He was a paratrooper in WWII (505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division) and jumped 9 times, including Battle of Bulge & North Africa.

Frequency/Location: Unknown / "We currently have events in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and spreading fast!" Frequency/Location: Monthly / Numerous clubs in California Cost: "For 2007, annual membership dues are $1200" Review: A colleauge of mine is a member and recommends it. Weekly updates! Please let me know if know of other items to add, or if you have any feedback on events. Sorry this didn't make it out on Monday as usual - I've been to so many events of late it's taken a while to write them all up.
