There’s one attribute (coming soon) that I need to have in order to write a check but I don’t believe is vital for success.  It Their first company was called Traffic.com, which they sold in March  2007 to Navteq for $180 million (not too shabby).  I This is the final part of my series on Entrepreneurial DNA that was originally published on  VentureHacks .  OK, OK, it’s not really my final part.

It will make life better if you are developing applications that you'd like to play in multiple places (write once, integrate/debug everywhere). I had already written about OpenSocial ( OpenSocial and Facebook as Platforms) and frankly I was hoping for a lot more in the announcements and APIs. I only have a cursory understanding of OpenSocial from reading various posts and from crawling through the API definitions, but it appears that OpenSocial has a long way to go before it's going to be useful for several of the applications we are working on.

One of the ironies of writing a blog is that the busier I am, the less time I have to write blog articles.  Not being a professional writer, or even a paid journalist, I can really only write in my free time, even though I enjoy writing about my industry.  as President in July 2007.  Paid work (and kids and wife) come first. Free time has been at a premium lately, since I joined Nami Media Inc.
