Los Angeles-based Lunch.com , the online social media site for connecting with like minded users, said today that it has launched a new feature called "Communities on Lunch". Johnson was founder of VirtualTourist.com, which he sold to Expedia in 2008. Lunch.com, which is headed by J.R. Johnson, said the new feature allows users to create their own, personalized review websites on the site.

Six major Hollywood movie studios, Viacom, and the DVD Copy Control Association had filed suit in September of 2008 over RealDVD, which was launched that same month to help consumers copy DVDs to their hard drive. Los Angeles? Los Angles founders are hustlers and deal makers. At parties in Los Angeles people talk about a media deal they’re “closing”, what TV star is at the party, and some “gray hat” spam-like technique that made them an extra 100K last month. Folks in Los Angeles are shrewder business people, have better interpersonal skills, but are more full of shit and two faced, and struggle to build products that get virally adopted. Is there a difference between tech startups in Silicon Valley vs. Most emphatically, Yes !
