The latest numbers from the MoneyTree Report from PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), based on data from Thomson Reuters, were released this morning, finding that there was $587.8M According to PwC/NVCA, investments in 2009 were at the lowest level since 1997, with only $17.7 in investments. A new report today released by PwC finds that the market for initial public offerings (IPOs) has jumped significantly in 2010, with volumes exceeding both 2008 and 2009 levels. In particular, PwC said there was a surge in fourth quarter activity, with 55 IPOs completed in the quarter, worth $23.5 billion. MORE >>
