The Orange County meeting is new for 2009, and while the following is true for the LA meeting the OC one is probably similar: You pay as you walk in, meet the organizers, get a name tag, fill a plate from the buffet, and then find a seat, family style, with the other approximately 100 networkers. Its success in New York quickly led to French Tuesdays being established in Miami in 2004, Los Angeles in 2006, San Francisco in 2007 and Paris in 2009. The San Diego arm of the Founder Institute , the entrepreneurship mentoring effort started by Adeo Ressi, said Friday that it has graduated 12 companies from its Fall 2009 San Diego semester. I spent time with the founder of the San Diego Band of Angels yesterday. Today TCA has 5 networks from Santa Barbara to San Diego.
