The last direct flight from Santa Barbara to Silicon Valley, on a route run by SkyWest Airlines, is being discontinued, according to reports. SkyWest Airlines has informed Santa Barbara Airport officials that it plans to discontinue direct flights to San Jose in June, due to lack of demand. The news was first reported by local Santa Barbara publication the Daily Sound. Yesterday, I met with @LisaBraithwaite, a local Santa Barbaran. responded to his tweet, we chatted on the phone and he asked me to co-host the event on Dec 14th, 2010.
