Altadena-based AdventureLink , which operates an online marketplace for adventure and eco tour operators and trips, appears to have raised $1.29M in a new funding round, according to a regulatory filing. Source of the new funding was not disclosed, however, it appears that prior investors Anthem Ventures and Allegis Capital participated in the new funding round. Los Angeles-based AdventureLink , which operates an online booking system for adventure travel, announced today that it has raised a Series A funding for the firm. According to AdventureLink, its online booking system allows travel agents to book adventure travel opportunities in 164 countries. AdventureLink also said today that it is in a partnership with VAX VacationAccess to distribute its service to over The funding came from Anthem Venture Partners and The Mail Room Fund. Los Angeles-based AdventureLink , the new adventure travel booking site run by Kelly Tompkins, announced this morning that it has acquired a competitor, Adventure Central . According to AdventureLink, the all-stock deal also included a new investment from Allegis Capital. AdventureLink is also venture backed by Anthem Venture Partners and The Mail Room Fund. READ MORE>>

Last week, Altadena-based AdventureLink (www.adventurelink.com) announced that it raised a Series A funding round, for the firm's adventure travel reservation network.
