Since I answer this all the time anyway I thought it might make an interesting blog post.  I My job doesn’t involve the daily grind of customer complaints, product outages, business partner / channel problems, hiring / firing, etc.  I I still like spending time with our teams – at GRP Partners we have a great team – but I don’t have large numbers of people to be responsible for.  If One of the questions I’m most often asked is, “what’s it like being a VC?” 8221;  I’ve been a VC for nearly 3 years now.  Since

After months of leaving my blog in a coma,  I have decided to get back to blogging.  First, as we constructed SocialVibe's partnership with WordPress, it reminded me of the power of words, and the opportunity blogs provide in building compelling content and great relationships.  Second, as I recently started to tweet I realized my blog offered a forum to expand on idea's and links that Twitter could only initiate.  Now, I was never a prolific blogger, but I did enjoy the chance to occasionally pontificate a view or two.  Yet, I am back, and hopefully more interesting

I myself recently covered the topic when I spoke about why GRP Partners invested in Ad.ly . GRP Partners invested in GoTo.com which rebranded as Overture.  When Brad Feld lists a book on his blog with an affiliate link that he monetizes is that wrong?  Should affiliate The topic of whether in-stream advertising has heated up.  I just read well written pieces on the topic by Ross Kimbarovsky , Robert Scoble , Paul Carr and the NY Times .
