I started with the hosted version and then migrated to an installed version so I could use Google Analytics and some other products.
If you’re a full time blogger and reading this then you need to go get a real book on how to blog. This Then you can install Google Analytics to your website. This I guess let’s file this under sales & marketing advice .

When Google opened up its mapping API it made Maponics’s Flash-based idea less appealing.
- After Google came out with its product, Maponics shut down its Flash-based product. The company works with Google, Trulia, infoUSA, Yellow Book USA, CitySearch, and other big online brands.
- The first company he founded failed, but now Darrin Clement is running a multi-million dollar mapping business that he founded and bootstrapped. How did he go from having to close down his previous company to winning so many customers at this one?

Los Angeles-based Atiz Innovation said Friday that it has unveiled a new device, which allows users to easily digitize books. The firm is taking aim at the increasing interest of libraries to digitize their book collections; among the higher profile efforts in this area are Google's online Book Search offering. Tags: book atiz scanner digitiz The new product--aimed at schools and libraries--combines a digital SLR camera and a special cradle to scan up to 700 pages an hour in high resolution scans. Atiz said it now has approximately 500 of the firm's products in place

Timothy Lee reports that Association of American Publishers and Google have reached a tentative agreement with the courts regarding the class action lawsuit between the two. The point of the suit by the AAP was to stop Google form innovating and making books more useful on Google’s own terms. The stodgy book publishing industry and copyright owners, who themselves recognize that The terms of the settlement were negotiation in secrecy, and the voice of the public was left out. This is troubling on many levels.
