Los Angeles-based Break Media , which operates a network of male-centric content web sites, said today that it has linked with home entertainment system company Yoostar in a promotion. The finalists from the event will be uploaded onto a contest site on Break.com, which will also film and include interviews, a special webisode, and other content. According to Break,it is teaming up with Yoostar for a special, featured channel on the site focused on the "Yoostar Casting Tour" competition. According to Break, "Break.com This Week In Fail" will feature stunt attempts from the site's library of user submitted videos. Break.com's videos typically feature people (often young, drunk, and arguably stupid) attempting to do sports and other stunts which usually go horribly wrong. Financial terms

Los Angeles-based Break.com has launched a new lampoon of the micro-messaging service Twitter, saying Wednesday afternoon that it has launched Tweet Boxx , a weekly online web series hosted by "Man in the Box" star Mike Polk. In the premier episode, Polk makes fun of tweets from Kim Kardashian, Soulja Boy, and Shaquille O'Neal, among others. Polk joined Break Media when it acquired HBOLabs last year.

Los Angeles-based Break Media , which operates a online network of web properties focused on men, announced this morning that it is teaming up with Quantcast to collect demographic information about its sites. The service will collect demographic data about who is viewing the firm's web videos. Break's male-oriented content web sites include Financial arrangements of the deal were not disclosed, however Break said it will implement Quantcast's Publisher service across its video distribution network. Los Angeles-based Break Media , which operates a number of web sites focused on the young male demographic, announced this morning that it has launched a new website, MadeMan.com . Break also operates the sites Break.com, Cage Potato, Chipedia, Holy Taco, Wall Street Fighter, Screen Junkies and All Left Turns.
