My competition is not Rustic Canyon, it's not Clearstone, or the other venture firms in town. Outside of Google, they've been one of the most successful companies over the last five or six years, in my opinion. This morning's interview is with Mark Suster , a venture capitalist at GRP Partners (www.grpvc.com). GRP has just recently closed on a new $200M fund, and Mark has been one of the more active venture capitalists in the Los Angeles area in recent months.

OT : I think there’s something creepy about Gchat, like all Google services. It’s like, in some ways, the way Google goes on and on and on about how they’re not evil; makes you wonder what they’re hiding. And that’s sort of what Google promises us. You can just “Google” it.
