Marina Del Rey-based Six Degree Games , which runs the Action AllStars online virtual world for tweens and teens, said today that it is tapping a software product from Crisp Thinking to help moderate its online environment. Six Degrees is venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners, Prism VentureWorks, and Time Warner. Six Degree said the NetModerator product from Crisp Thinking can identify and block predators, bullies, and other threats to its online game. Financial details of the deal between the firms was not disclosed.

Marina Del Rey-based ActionAllStars.com , which develops virtual worlds for kids from six to 14 years old, said this morning that it has linked up with Candystand.com , an online gaming and entertainment site. ActionAllStars is operated by Six Degree Games, and is venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners and Prism Venture Partners. According to the firms, ActionAllStars.com's sports entertainment will be available directly from Candystand.com's web site. The deal includes access to Action Allstar's sports games from the National Basketball Assocation (NBA)
