Los Angeles-based Stamps.com is furthering its focus on online stories, saying today that it has linked its product to the e-commerce payment systems for Amazon.com Pro Merchant, Yahoo Merchant, Google Checkout, and Paypal. According to Stamps.com, the firm's software now allows web store managers to process, manage, and ship orders from "virtually any" e-commerce source. The new additions come on top of an existing push by Stamps.com to cater to eBay merchants. Stamps.com recently started looking back into the eBay shipping market, saying in early October

That's where I learned I enjoyed interacting with customers and working with development teams to build and launch products. From there, I became the first non-founder employee at an e-commerce startup called BITSource, which was the first electronic software distributor delivering electronic volume software licenses to corporations. We have a working alpha version now and are planning to launch a beta in the next 6-8 weeks. In addition, I do a few consulting projects on the side, in the areas of product strategy, search engine optimization, and intellectual property. Fascinating

Two Southern Californians are in the running for $10,000 for their entries into a user generated advertising effort from e-commerce site Amazon.com . Two of those finalists for the �Your Amazon Ad Contest� are from Los Angeles--David Keenan of Hacienda Heights for his entry "Not Available", and Angela Kohler of Los Angeles, for her entry "Kindlicious." Amazon ran its advertising through its site, Withoutabox, According to Amazon.com, it has selected five finalists to compete for the $10,000 in Amazon gift card, plus a trip to a film festival in New York City.
