The 12/14/09 LA Event was an evening only (and free) - it's only fitting I use my tweet: Updated 1/24/10 by Todd Zebert Name: Executive Networking & Technology Group - ExecTec of LA Review: Each dinner has a different topic and "everyone participates in a round table discussion." Attendees were in their 30's to 40's; when Jason asked for a show of hands of those who had started a company or planned too essentally every hand went out; internet based businesses dominated. Weekly updates! Please let me know if know of other items to add, or if you have any feedback

Mike will be using a desk at Make It Work to incubate his new company. As a board member of the Technology Council of Southern California (now an official sponsor of the event), I first reached out to my fellow board members. I’ve been engaged with social networking for some time now, starting with Myspace and Facebook and just recently (within the last 30 days), Twitter. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon, big time!

Just a quick note that I'll be moderating a Technology Council Event : Social Networking as a Business Strategy May 19, 2009 - Culver City Social networking media are used on a daily basis to grow businesses and expand career opportunities. Social networking sites and microblogs are used not only to build company brands, but to foster productivity; social media tools help build communities around the question, "What are you working on?" Individuals use social networking sites such as LinkedIn and Plaxo as career-advancing tools, even more useful in a down economy.

As part of doing that, I've had the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of different chief technical officers from different kinds of companies over those years. This is a private group of CTOs who are responsible for software development within their companies. Yes, there are some events around particular technologies. I've helped organize the Los Angeles CTO Forum for almost 10 years. They are generally the senior most person responsible for custom software development, database design, database administration, web development, etc. In a recent conversation

I’ve recently had a chance to reconnect with Eric David Greenspan ( LinkedIn , Twitter ) He’s the CEO of Make It Work a high quality, personal, high touch technology service provider for homes and small businesses. He’s done several startups and is a board member of the Technology Council of Southern California (which is where I met him originally). A great opportunity for more visible networking . I roughly know about MakeItWork, but tell me a bit about where you spend your time day-to-day. A typical day starts with email, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Yammer checks/updates.

She is a go to person for me when I have questions around technology or early stage marketing and branding. We do a lot of B2B and also have an "Early Stage Branding" practice for technology startups. Personally: I grew up all over the world because my Dad was in the U.S. I'll connect offline on both of those. What are you working on now? Right now we're working on a multi-platform sales support program for Daylight Transport, a mid-sized I've known Farida for quite a while. Maybe ten years.
