Yesterday, I met with @LisaBraithwaite, a local Santa Barbaran. Our Director of Flow, Heather Burlesci will be attending these courses as she is looking to build up her skills in this area. of course agreed to get involved. Finally, we started talking about the event on our radio show, Tech News, powered I’ve been engaged with social networking for some time now, starting with Myspace and Facebook and just recently (within the last 30 days), Twitter. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon, big time!

When people think of social news sites they tend to think of Digg. However there are also several great social news sites out there beyond the Digg demographic. Introducing Smaknews , a local startup providing social news voting for women. SmakNews is a social news voting site focused mainly on hot topics evolving around I had a chance to talk with the Smaknews Editrix, Gina Mom, about the site.
