Thousand Oaks-based biotech giant Amgen said this morning that it has agreed to buy KAI Pharmaceuticals , a developer of treatments for secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) who are on dialysis, for $315M in cash.
