This was evident at the Twiistup pre-event company pitch last week at UCLA.  Francisco Don’t confuse this with a tour-de-force education on the finer details of how your company operations.  They You’re there to leave an impression – not to educate.  It’s Most people suck at presenting to big groups.  It’s It’s a shame because the ability to nail these presentations at key conferences can be once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to influence journalists, business partners, potential employees, customers and VCs.

Aaron Hawkey: Cramster is an online study community, built around students and educational subjects. was an electrical engineer, and had a tough time at UCLA getting access to resources I needed. Editor's note: Shai Reshef is the firm's angel investor, and sold his last company to educational firm Kaplan). February saw two big events for the Group, the Startonomics conference and the 8 by 8 dinner .  The 8 by 8 dinner sold out quickly as usual, and featured a really diverse set of smart folks: venture capital, CMOs, startup founders, social media execs, and the mandatory student.
