Jason Calacanis started this initiative in response to the pay-to-play network of angel events that he despised.  I’m The first event was a big success and brought out many of LA’s angel elite.  It The second event was in Boulder . I attended the inaugural Open Angel Forum in Los Angeles back in January and wrote about it here .   I’m a huge supporter of his initiative to help end this practice.

The word went out today that Twiistup is now accepting applications for their coveted show off spots. The upcoming Twiistup, which takes place this July, is in its sixth year and continues to grow and evolve with the communities ever changing needs.
