We are also home to DemandMedia (Richard Rosenblatt) and Mahalo (Jason Calacanis). After this was my panel (co-hosted by Christian Gammill who had to leave mid-way to race off to Hawaii to get engaged and by Tony Adam), with Mike Jones (COO of MySpace), David Sacks (founder of Geni and Yammer) and Jamie Montgomery (CEO of tech investment bank Montgomery & Co).  The tone of the panel was set by David’s announcement that he was relocating to Silicon Valley (and dragging Geni & Yammer ExpenseBay Wins Showoff Twiistup 6 has come to an end.

The genie is back, except this time, he reads the fan tweets live (sponsored by Coca-Cola!). Now that his  startup Mahalo has gone user-gen, Jason has A LOT more time on his hands. Jason could bring contestants into the boardroom and task them with finding a groomer for his bulldogs, using nothing but Twitter AND   Mahalo Answers! As reported by Variety ,  a Twitter-themed television show is now under development. It’s being described as “putting ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format.”
