Los Angeles-based the Rubicon Project , a provider of Internet advertising optimization software and services, announced today that it has rolled out a new product which will automate the buying of online ad inventory. Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , which supplies ad optimization software to web publishers, announced today that it has released a new version of its VANTAGE Firefox browser plug-in, which helps provide its publishers with revenue and impressoin statistics and other information. Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , which operates an online advertising optimization service, is announcing this morning that the firm has raised $13M more in a combination of equity and debt. Rubicon said that the Series B follow-on funding will go twards strategic acquisitions, research and development, international expansion, and infrastructure. Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , a venture backed provider of online advertising optimization services, said today that it has acquired Others Online , a provider of a behavioral targeting service for the online advertising industry. Rubicon said the buy will help it build out its platform. Jordan Mitchell, CEO and Founder of Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Well known local PR director Nicole Jordan is leaving her post at Rubicon Project, a mega-funded advertising optimization company. At the end of January I’ll be leaving the Rubicon Project. It’s It’s been an amazing 2 1/2 years but the Rubicon Project is now a well-oiled PR and marketing machine and I want to turn my focus back to start-ups that need help getting the attention and marketing resources they deserve.

Los Angeles-based The Rubicon Project , the online advertising optimization firm backed by Clearstone, Mayfield, IDG, and Peacock Equity, said today that it has enhanced its "Certified Inventory" program with a partnership with AdSafe Media. Rubicon's certified inventory program rates publishers' sites for safety, quality, and other factors, so that advertisers can better target their ads to the most appropriate web sites. According to Rubicon, it is integrating AdSafe's proprietary content analysis technology to help provide more advanced brand protection for its advertisers.

Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , the online advertising optimization service firm headed by Frank Addante, is claiming this morning that the firm saw 270%, year over year growth in 2009. Rubicon Project's online advertising service helps publishers pick the best yielding ads from online ad networks. Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project announced Wednesday that the firm has opened up an office in Sydney, Australia, as part of an expansion in the Asia Pacific region. According to Rubicon, which provides online advertising optimization software and services, it has hired on Kaylie Smith as Managing Director in Sydney to head up its Australian and Asian operations. Rubicon is backed by Clearstone Venture Partners, Smith was most recently Head of Platform Japan + Asia Pacific at Google, and has also served at DoubleClick, Red Sherrif, and Pearson.
