Los Angeles. People I believe you can attract people to relocate to Los Angeles but it’s likely that they’ll come from locations other than Northern California.
Los Angeles has a strategic asset : content creation skills – In order for the Internet to go mainstream you first needed the infrastructure to support it from networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper) to databases (Oracle) to search (Google) and more recently mobile devices (Apple). But People either love it our hate it. All All the stereotypes and caricatures are overblown.

Los Angeles-based streaming media site Hulu.com said Tuesday afternoon that two of the firm's most popular shows, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report, are being pulled from the site. According to Hulu, Comedy Central has decided to rotate the shows off the service, as of 11:59 p.m. Hulu said the shows will continue to be available on TheDailyShow.com and ColbertNation.com PST on Tuesday, March 9th. Hulu said it was "unable to secure the rights" to extend the show, after a "series of discussions" with the team at Comedy Central.

Los Angeles-based Hulu, which offers TV shows, movies, and clips from the major networks, is adding the ablity to embed Hulu clips on social networking sites such as MySpace.com and Facebook, in a new deal with content syndication service SplashCast. According to SplashCast, Hulu will use SplashCast to distribute its television shows and other content on MySpace.com and Facebook, as a way to reach the 15- to 34- year old audience. Los Angeles-based video site Hulu said Thursday that it will be featuring commercials from this weekend's Super Bowl XLIV on the site, in a special section it is calling the Hulu AdZone. Hulu said that the section will feature each of the new, Super Bowl commercials after they air on the live broadcast, and also allow users to vote on their favorites. In addition to the new commercials, Hulu said it is currently featuring all of the Super Bowl ads from 2008 and 2009 on the site, as well as through an embeddable widget for Hulu fans.

Los Angeles-based Hulu , which streams major television shows and other videos to users, announced this morning that it has launched a new user tagging function. Tags: hulu video streaming television content taggin The firm said that users of the site can now create custom keywords or category labels, allowing users to group and discover new videos on the site. The firm allows any user to add tags to any video on the site, as well as allows those users to search for other similarly tagged videos.

The latest numbers out of Internet research firm comScore finds that Los Angeles-based Hulu , the online video streaming site, is rising rapidly in traffic, and has just hit 855 million video views, up significantly from the 583 million views it saw in September. Los Angeles-based video streaming firm Hulu told its users today that it has launched two new, experimental projects in its Hulu Labs section. According to Hulu, it has launched a new publishing tool-- Hulu Publisher Tool --which helps reporters, bloggers, website editors, and others to find and embed premium video content from the site and elsewhere. Los Angeles-based online video site Hulu announced today that the firm has added a new feature which allows users to search the captions of the shows on its service. Los Angeles-based MySpace said Wednesday that the firm has launched a new application which links user profiles on the social networking site to the Hulu video site.
