We ate great food, we chatted, we listened to Jeremy Anticouni’s 38th broadcast of CBS/KNX Tech News (powered by Make It Work) and I presented to the team. The seven minute piece went on to showcase many of our accomplishments as a company, including the awarding of Services Company of the Year in 2006 by the Tech Council of Southern California and our back to back wins of “Best of Computer Repair” in Santa Barbara, voted on by readers of the Independent. Yesterday, Make It Work got together at our partner South Bay Mini’s offices to discuss our achievements, our challenges and our future…we called it “Launch to the Moon, 2010.”

Yesterday, I met with @LisaBraithwaite, a local Santa Barbaran. We will collaborate on ideas and projects. We created Superfriends, a group of local entrepreneurs that will gather to share ideas and help each other grow personally and professionally.
Finally, we started talking about the event on our radio show, Tech News, powered by Make It Work who is a co-sponsor now. I’ve been engaged with social networking for some time now, starting with Myspace and Facebook and just recently (within the last 30 days), Twitter. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon, big

I’ve got to imagine this makes tracking marketing spend challenging. Anything else you doing from a marketing standpoint that's working well? Our radio show, Tech News, powered by Make It Work has been a great success. Just found the title of my post. You've been blogging for a while, what are five good posts that I should check out? Flip flops required , How I got my mortgage company to lower my payments by $10k , Want more Twitter followers?, Santa Barbara: the home of the clicks (and the calls) , Do your kids Google poo? Great posts.

" SANTA BARBARA — The walls between industry and academe are being scaled in many different ways when it comes to engineering and science at UC Santa Barbara. Ideas from the university reach the market in a variety of ways. The relationship is expanding to forge new bonds between the university's resources and research and corporate knowledge and needs. Professors at the university have started companies based on their research, and students have created their own companies while in the Technology Management Program.
