It's called Information Gap Theory. If you’re not familiar with the term it’s basically trying to help all of us who are deluged with technology to find ways to cope with the masses of information without having it ruin our lives.
The concept is that in the “information era” the overwhelming majority of employees in the world have meaningless jobs pushing papers from one side of their desk to the other side from 9am to 5pm and really don’t have much of an impact on anything. At least $19B will be going into payment to providers for adopting ��meaningful use�� of ��interoperable Electronic health record (EHR) technology.�� More is being directed into ��Health Information Exchanges�� to provide MIT Enterprise Forum of San Diego. The volume of Tweets is enormous and growing at a rapid pace so tools are emerging to help brands manage this information.
They could then publish information and it would go in the “stream” of information when you were logged into Facebook.

Los Angeles-based private equity firm Platinum Equity said Thursday afternoon that it has completed its acquisition of Pomeroy IT Solutions , a Kentucky-based provider of information technology solutions and services.
