In terms of the awards, Entrepreneur of the Year went to Scott Painter , of Zag and TrueCar ; CEO of the Year went to Adam Miller of Cornerstone OnDemand . The awards event appears to be one of the first in the annual wave of company wards in Southern California; TechAmerica is holding its annual awards event in Orange County in May, LAVA is getting set for its own awards event; and there are many others coming u The Technology Council of Southern California kicked off awards season last night, honoring a number of local CEOs and companies for their success in the last year.
