Santa Monica-based LIVESTRONG.COM , the online health and fitness site run by Demand Media, has updated the firm's MyPlate lifestyle management tool, the company announced this morning. LIVESTRONG said that it has added new custom receipe builders, an expanded food and activity database, and other features to the tool, which allows users to track what they are eating and how often they are exercising. The firm said the new tool also now integrates with LIVESTRONG Loops, the site's tool for finding local walking and running routes.

Santa Monica-based LIVESTRONG.COM , the online health and fitness site run by Demand Media for Lance Armstrong, reported today that its new site for Team RadioShack, the professional cycling team of Armstrong, has grown to one million visitors in just seven days. The Livestrong.com site itself has five million users, the firm said. The firm said it is the exclusive gateway and hub for up-to-the-minute reports on Lance Armstrong's new cycling team, and will feature interviews and other information about the team's activities. Demand Media and Armstrong launched Livestrong.com

Santa Monica-based LIVESTRONG.COM , the online health site run by Demand Media in conjunction with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, announced this morning that it has launched a new online tool it is calling MyPlate D, for online nutrition tracking. LIVESTRONG.COM said the new tool is built on top of its existing, Daily Plate food database tool. The site is targeted at people with diabetes, to help them control the disease. According to the site, the new product allows users to track calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates for more than 625,000 food items.

According to Livestrong.com, it has introduced a new Calorie Tracker application which can be used to monitor nutritional intake via their iPhone.
