Long Beach-based Bikestations , an angel-backed startup developing modules used for storing bicycles at train stations, bus stations, and elsewhere, said today that it has contracted for install of a center, at the Covina Metrolink station. Bikestation is angel backed by the Tech Coast Angels. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. The firm said it is installing a new, 10x25 square foot "multi-use bicycle transit center" which will allow commuters to park up to 36 parking spaces and up to 80 users.

He had his own firm and we were both operating in the realm of finding investors for early stage high tech companies. was operating through Tech Coast Angels and was about to learn that the business ethics that I took for granted in TCA were not the way everyone operated. He was someone I met outside my usual trusted sources, but here I was Vice Chairman of a new nonprofit whose goal it was to promote Orange County to the world. This was an honorable undertaking, like motherhood,

Irvine-based Bikestation , a developer of facilities for bicycle commuting, has scored an investment from the Tech Coast Angels angel investment group, the TCA said this morning. According to the Orange County arm of the Tech Coast Angels, the investment was led by Raulee Marcus. The firm operates facilities in Long Beach, Santa Barbara, Palo Amount of the investment in Bikestation was not announced.
