Los Angeles-based social networking site MySpace , in a bid to connect with the "real-time" web, said early this morning at the LeWeb conference that it has launched a new, real-time API. Los Angeles-based MySpace is launching a promotion centered around the upcoming NCAA March Madness basketball tournament Monday, with a promotion and $10,000 prize, the firm revealed this morning. According to MySpace, it will be giving away $10,000 to the winner of the firm's second annual MySpace Bracket Challenge , which is being sponsored by vitaminwater.
