Los Angeles. People DemandMedia has already scaled a tech team to a considerable size in Santa Monica.
I believe you can attract people to relocate to Los Angeles but it’s likely that they’ll come from locations other than Northern California.
My commute, for example, from Santa Monica to Century City is less than 15 minutes each way and I never have to take the freeway. People either love it our hate it. All All the stereotypes and caricatures are overblown. And

Los Angeles? ve spent the last year running a tech company based in Santa Monica , CA and I’ve spent countless weeks in the Bay meeting with hundreds of tech founders. Los Angles founders are hustlers and deal makers. At parties in Los Angeles people talk about a media deal they’re “closing”, what TV star is at the party, Is there a difference between tech startups in Silicon Valley vs. Most emphatically, Yes !

The goal is to create a place where it's relatively easy to find current content and highly relevant content surrounding Los Angeles Technology. To be clear Los Angeles Tech is a jump off point.
