There's a giant need in the supply side to be able to go out to a web site, put your corporate profile down, and have a very efficient system for matching both the demand and supply side, matching the intern and the job at a local and geographic level. But, we were able to into a huge event that we partnered with Lifetime and MySpace on, and we got 50,000 girls to try out in less than a week, with hundreds of thousands of people online as voters and fans, and we had millions of impressions surrounding the event. There was some beautiful web sites that were built, but I know from my time as a talent agent, these guys were spending a lot of time and money on content, but not spending a lot of time on how to monetize it. Santa Monica-based Movieclips.com , an online site which allows users to search for scenes from major movies, and embed them on Facebook, MySpace, and other web sites, said today that it has opened up its service to users worldwide. The firm also said it has released an API to allow developers to access the firm's clips and related metadata. The startup says it has around 12,000 movie clips from major Hollywood studios on its site.

Los Angeles-based social networking site MySpace , in a bid to connect with the "real-time" web, said early this morning at the LeWeb conference that it has launched a new, real-time API.
