Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project is extending into mobile advertising, the firm said today, with a new mobile ad optimization product. According to Rubicon Project, its new REVV for Mobile (RFM) product will provide mobile ad serving, campaign management, and ad network optimization on mobile ad impressions. Rubicon's new product provides automation of mobile advertising, based on eCPM, click through rates, and fill rates, similar The firm said the new mobile offering comes from a partnership with mOcean Mobile. Financial terms of the deal with mOcean were not announced.

Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , which operates an online advertising optimization service, is announcing this morning that the firm has raised $13M more in a combination of equity and debt. Rubicon said that the Series B follow-on funding will go twards strategic acquisitions, research and development, international expansion, and infrastructure. Rubicon wants to send two lucky students to Twiistup! Nicole Jordan , Director of Integrated Communications for Rubicon, loves helping others and decided to create two Twiistup “scholarships” for budding entrepreneurs to be able to attend the one of a kind event.
They will have the chance to network with some of the biggest names in tech and meet with heads of companies that are actively looking for interns and seeking out potential job candidates.
The idea behind the scholarship, is to give young college students the chance to connect with the leaders in the Business community.

Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , a provider of Internet advertising optimization tools, said today that it has launched a new security offering called Rubicon Security. The firm said the new software fights "malvertising" and identifies malware within advertising networks, and stops those attacks before they reach consumers. Recently, a number of malware writers have used ad networks to Rubicon Project said it is integrated automated ad tag monitoring technology from ClickFacts, in order to automatically scan all ad tags and detect any malware in those ads.

Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , which provides online advertising optimization for web publishers, reports this morning that its latest advertising market survey finds that CPMs are up "significantly" in Q2. The firm, which pulls pricing data from publishers and ad networks using its service, said that it is seeing ad pricing jumps as big as 270% among music sites. Overall, the firm reported CPMs are up about 38% in Q2. Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project , the online advertising optimization software firm headed by Frank Addante, released new traffic and customer numbers Monday, saying that the company is now serving up ads for 8 of the top 15 newspaper publishers in the U.S. Rubicon said that the Premium News category is one of the firm's largest growing areas. The company's publishing customers include MediaNews, Gannett, and Freedom Interactive, among others. The firm said it has optimized more than 18 billion impressions for 150 "Premium News" category publishers using its products.

Santa Monica-based internet advertising firm the Rubicon Project said Thursday that the firm has officially opened up its London offices, and hired on a Director to handle UK publishers. Rubicon--which appointed a International VP just last month and said it would be setting up shop in London--said that it has recruited Justin Thomas as Director of UK Publisher Development for the new office.
