Los Angeles-based Meetrix , a developer of an online virtual conference room service, said today that it has granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. The patent, number 7,664,056, was issued February 16th, and covers "Media based collaboration using mixed-mode PSTN and Internet networks". Irvine-based Integrien , a developer of IT performance analytics software, announced this morning that it has received another patent on its technology. The firm said that the patent is the second issued for the firm, which has another 11 additional patent applications. Oxnard-based CalAmp, a developer of wireless products and hardware, said Wednesday that it has entered into a patent license agreement with Trackn, a supplier of location-based services, for two of its patents. According to CalAmp, Trackn, which runs a service called Enfotrace, will license its patents covering vehicle location systems for locating and repossessing vehicles. The patent licensing deal follows a patent infringement suit filed by CalAmp against Trackn. Financial details of the patent licensing deal were not disclosed.
