I started with the hosted version and then migrated to an installed version so I could use Google Analytics and some other products.

He has a really interesting background as a product manager and now an entrepreneur. Tell me a bit about your background. Like many product managers, my background is fairly eclectic. That's where I learned I enjoyed interacting with customers and working with development teams to build and launch products. From there, I became the first non-founder employee at an e-commerce startup called BITSource, which was the first electronic software distributor delivering electronic volume software licenses to corporations. Visible networking is turning into a really great opportunity to get to know people better, get to meet new people, and have some interesting conversations.

Brea-based IMS Company , a manufacturer of in-flight portable entertainment players and related products, said Friday that it has acquired Flight Deck Resources, a provider of hardware for flight deck management on airplanes. According to IMS, Flight Deck Resources will become a new division, which will be known as IMS Flight Deck. The Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The products are sold to commercial airlines, corporate aviation, air cargo, general aviation and aircraft fleet operators.

Irvine-based Epicor Software , a developer of ERP and other business software, disclosed Tuesday that it has signed on South American firm American Glass Products (AGP) Columbia. Epicor said the AGP will use its enterprise resource planning products.

Aliso Viejo-based Quest Software said today that it has released new software aimed at the storage resource management market. According to Quest, the firm's new product, Storage Horizon, measures storage usage, helps with provisioning, and provides automated storage analysis and reporting. The new product is the firm's first product addressing the storage resource management (SRM) market. The SRM product comes from Quest's acquisition of storage software provider MonoSphere in January of this year. MonoSphere was venture backed by Lightspeed Venture

Santa Monica-based Cornerstone OnDemand , which develops human resources and talent management software, said Thursday that it has linked with a firm to reseller its products in the Asia Pacific region. The firm will resell Cornerstone OnDemand's SaaS products in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
