Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies said Thursday that it has acquired Cormon Limited and Cormon Technology Limited, a developer of subsea and surface sand and corrosion sensor systems used in oil and gas production. Cormon's products are used in oil and gas production processes for hydrocarbon production monitoring. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Cormon will be renamed Teledyne Cormon Limited.

Financial impact of the sale was not disclosed. The firm's arrays, which combine multiple Wi-Fi access points into a single piece of hardware, were used in lieu of hundreds of standard access points.

Nexsan said that Michael McGuire has joined the firm, reporting to CEO Philip Black, and will be in charge of worldwide sales, marketing, and business development.
