Location based service Foursquare is a revolutionary product that allows you to broadcast your whereabouts at any given time.
It’s also a great tool for stalking your friends.
Of course many SXSW attendees this year were happy to broadcast every spot they visited, even their hotel location. And while that may not include their exact room number that’s easy enough to come by thanks to the friendly front desk staff.

This tool sits on your browser toolbar and memorizes all your log in information for various websites. I hope you find the following list helpful!

But compared to my exit from consulting 3 years ago, this is MUCH easier due to the tools below (and more). This time, I’ve set up “drops” using one of my favorite tools, dropio (www.drop.io). Well, lots of great tools exist for that: Zoho for CRM, wiki, screen sharing and much more. After almost 3 years at Momentum, I’m rounding the corner on my final week. I’m headed back to school full-time this fall, so for the last several days, I’ve focused on winding down and transitioning myriad projects.

At the beginning of 2009, I began helping one of our product-oriented portfolio companies evaluate and implement a project management system. Their Their product roadmap was scattered, and we needed to bring a level of transparency and collaboration to product development.
Both are excellent products. MS Project was definitely not an option. I looked at a dozen or so and signed up for free trials of a few.
