So far a few people have commeted and said they would join in the challenge including media empress Shira Lazar and David Travers from Rustic Canyon Partners. Los Angeles-based venture capital investor Rustic Canyon Partners is part of a group investing $50M in private equity in San Francisco-based LoopNet, which operates an online marketplace for commercial real estate. According to LoopNet, Calera Capital, Trinity Ventures, and Rustic Canyon Partners are investing $50M in convertible preferred stock in the publicly held firm.
