Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media , which is developing software which helps to make web sites more relevant to their visitors, announced today that it has added a new feature to match relevant stories with users on its Daymix information portal. According to Tsavo, the Daymix site will now begin delivering editorial content, based on the interests and previous click-throughs of users on the site. Tsavo said it is now running a network of more than 300 web site across the technology, finance, education, home and garden, and lifestyle areas. Tsavo has been applying

Santa Monica-based Tsavo , the online media company which owns Manolith, Twirlit, Kidglue, and Nibbledish, has lost its Vice President of Product and Design, Mike Macadaan. According to Macadaan, this week is his last at Tsavo. Macadaan's departure closely follows the departure of Tsavo founder and CEO Michael Jones, who recently became COO of MySpace. Macadaan is well known in the Los Angeles technology community for creating and running Twiistup, the popular Los Angeles technology networking and startup showcase event. Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media, the online media startup headed by former Userplane founder Michael Jones, said today that it has hired on Sean Percival as Director of Content at the firm. According to Tsavo, Percival will manage the build-out of Tsavo's vertical properties. Percival was most recently at Docstoc, where he was Content Manager, and has also previously headed up social media and search engine marketing at Mahalo. Percival has previously served at Trading Places International and Nova Development.

Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media, the new startup venture of former Userplane founder Michael Jones, said Tuesday that it has named Steve Schepke as General Manager of Tsavo Agency, a new unit focused on providing monetization services to content providers. According to Tsavo, Schepke joins Tsavo from Commission Junction. Schepke has also served at Proceed Interactive, a search and interactive marketing agency, and Terra Firma Marketing, where he was founder. Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media , the online media venture of former Userplane founder Michael Jones, announced Thursday that it has acquired an online, user-generated recipe site called OpenSourceFood . According to Tsavo, it will rename the OpenSourceFood site NibbleDish . Tsavo acquired the user-generated recipe site from Egg & Co., Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. a Tokyo-based venture headed by Jon Anthony Yongfook Cockle.

Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media, the new startup founded by Userplane founder Michael Jones, has launched a new division, focused on search engine marketing. The firm announced the division Tuesday afternoon, saying that its new Tsavo Agency will provide search engine marketing and content monetization services for companies. The new unit comes shortly after Tsavo Media's acquisition of Better search engine marketing business. Santa Monica-based Tsavo , the online media firm run by former Userplane founder Michael Jones, said Monday that it has officially launched a new web site focused on searching the popular Twitter micro-blogging service. Tsavo said the new site will be integrated into its network of sites--being billed as the "Daymix network" by the firm--which also includes sites like food site NibbleDish, mommy site Kidglue, male-oriented site Manolith, and Twirlit.com. The new service, Twithority , allows users to search for Twitter messages, shown in order of highest ranking users and time.
