Unfortunately, it seems like all too many Web 2.0 web sites ask for your password to other web services, making the practice of password sharing all too common. startup-really-two-guys-and-a-dog with your Gmail/Yahoo/etc. Well, if you gave anyone your password recently, change it - and when the next “really cool� Web 2.0 I chuckled at this post a few minutes ago on Mashable–talking about how a Twitter ranking site might be a phishing scam for passwords. remember going to an Under the Radar conference in 2006 in the heat of the Web 2.0 There were tons of young entrepreneurs showing their latest Web 2.0 Unfortunately this was reinforced by the many conferences that rushed to espouse the benefits of Web 2.0 and the subsequent acquisition sprees of companies like Google, Yahoo!, This is part of my ongoing series of posts and I need to file this one under both Raising Venture Capital and Startup Advice .

asked Siamak why Grasshopper didn't offer its service for free, the way other web sites do. was getting into kind of Web design and consulting, and things like that as a 14 or 15-year-old. Web 1.0 was the “static” web. Traditional media companies published their stories on the web. Web 2.0 was the 2-way web. then remember when Amazon started selling books on the web. Advertising has driven the majority of Internet innovation
